Castro's father, Ramón Castro Ruz, believes his son Fidel Castro will return home after 10 years of being missing. Fidel Castro, the former president of Cuba, disappeared in 2014 while on a fishing trip off the coast of Havana. 

In a recent interview, Ramón Castro stated, "My son is alive and well, and I believe he will come back to us soon. I don't know the exact date, but I have faith that he will return before the year is out."[1] When asked what he would do if Fidel never returned, Ramón said, "I will continue to pray for his safe return and hold out hope until the day I die."

Fidel Castro's disappearance has been a mystery for the past decade. Some speculate he may have defected to the United States, while others believe he is living in exile in another country. The Cuban government has maintained that he is still alive but has not provided any proof of life or updates on his whereabouts.

Ramón Castro, now in his late 80s, remains optimistic that his son will come back home to Cuba. He continues to hold vigil, waiting for the day when Fidel will return.
